We have found that this approach to divorce has many benefits, including being less expensive and less stressful.
Mediation
In addition to collaborative law, we offer the services of Steve Olsen, a certified mediator and have facilitated many divorces over a day or two of mediation. Divorce mediation gives you the opportunity 
to make decisions based on your unique situation. It preserves the role of each parent in a co-parenting plan and empowers both parties to resolve issues. You decide together what the outcomes will be. When the parties involved are committed, we have found that mediation has a high success rate. Divorcing couples are more likely to honor the agreements they create between themselves, making the entire process less painful and complex.
